BOTTLED

  • No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite. Nelson Mandela ‘Long Walk to Freedom’

SALT

Salt or sugar?
At table which might you guess?

We all know what salt is.
I don't know anyone that does not.

Same goes for sugar. Right?

Which is which?

Can you tell the difference?
Without scientific testing?

How?

What does it take to tell the difference?

Salt or sugar by the salt shaker?

Sometimes I think I can tell by just looking.
Sometimes I am right.
Sometimes I am wrong.

Sugar or salt by the sugar shaker?

I know only one way to really know.
It is by taste.

To taste I must act.
I must actually do.
Doing is more than knowing there is a difference.

"Doing" requires action, by me.

And when I know salt from sugar, and use them in correctly balanced amounts, I can create marvelous and delicious foods, change my environment (think ice in winter), and increase joy for myself and for others.

What questions puzzle your mind?
What can you "do"?
