LIKE FATHER, LIKE SON

Our son visited recently.
He played a game of chess with his father.

I despise Chess.
I am amazed anyone plays chess.
I don't EVER want to spend that much time on a game.
Needless to say I am not good at it.
Why bother???

I do love checkers.
It is a faster game.
I can have a life and play checkers.

Their game started normally enough. They reflected a few moves just to taunt the other ... but when they really settled into the game every so often they would both have the same identical pieces on the board.

They would laugh and even had us take a picture.
At first it was just, 'hey - how odd' but it continued.

Now that IS odd.

And even more odd is the end.

They seem to think a bit alike ...
